I plan on getting my Associate of Arts degree through a program called running start (In Washington State) in highschool. If I graduate highschool with my Associate of Arts degree and than transfer to a University such as Gonzaga or WSU for nursing (Bachelors of Science in Nursing), would that mean when I transfer I'm at Junior standing and I'm going straight into my major, and I'd graduate in two years from college? Also, how does transferring an Associates of Arts to a University to get my BSN work? Will I still have any prerequisites to fill for my nursing major before I begin work on my major? Has anyone ever gotten their Associate of Arts and transferred it to a four year college to get their BSN? If so, how did it work? I want to become a CRNA and this is the first step to accomplishing it. Thank you for any replies. One more thing, how many years out of highschool (I'll graduate HS with my Assoicate of Arts) until I would get my BSN? Two/Three/Four years?... Read More »
